The Adobe® Lightroom™ public beta
was announced today, but sadly only in a Mac version so far. The software promises to be an "efficient new way for professional photographers to import, select, develop, and showcase large volumes of digital images" and Andy Williams of Digital Grin has already posted a review of the public beta offering.
It looks very promising, and I can't wait to get my hands on the Windows version when it's published.

My dad has gone out and got himself a brand new Canon EOS 350D just like mine, but he also got a Cullmann 34 AF-C Flash to boot. I tested it today, and the results were:
