October 31, 2007 00:38 | 0 CommentsAccording to Bug #59695 in acpi-support (Ubuntu) the default ACPI setting, when operating on battery power, could potentially kill your HDD at a quicker pace than normal. Thankfully it’s on the “wishlist” for bug fixes and it’s only been known since the 9th of September 2006.

As of today I’m officially a Watchguard Certified System Professional and I’ve got the PDF to prove it….Virtualization.info reports that Mendel Rosenblum has also left VMware after Diane Greens departure in July. Interesting times for VMware certainly.
