Microsoft Web Platform Installer Beta (Web PI)
Microsoft has announces their Web Platform Installer beta (Web PI) and it includes Gallery support!
I haven't tested this yet, but Web PI should make it much easier to install, amongst others, Gallery on your IIS 7 with FastCGI and PHP.
Gallery even has it's own download page on microsoft.com
Seems like something I need to play with ASAP.

The gallery support is a great news.
Maybe easier to instal but to update and modify … ?

It strange because microsoft has it’s own ecommerce solution (commerce server) and will propose to install open source ecommerce solutioN.

@Billyboylindien: Well, upgrading should be pretty easy. Since this seems to configure IIS7 for you, all you should have to do is to replace the Gallery 2 files. Modification is another ballgame though, and that is not made easier by Microsoft offering an autoinstall.
@Christophe Denuziere: I didn’t consider that, but the case here is that Microsoft is offering an autoinstall of PHP as well, which competes with asp.net. Seems like they are choosing interoptability instead of lock-in.
