This press
release caught my eye. Entitled "Microsoft and XenSource to Develop Interoperability for Windows Server “Longhorn” Virtualization" it signals an intent from Microsoft and Xen to attack VMWare directly, and it seems to give Microsoft a hypervisor quicker than anticipated. Interesting indeed.
