Gallery 2 and Wordpress Integration

Gallery 2 and Wordpress To paraphrase chye-fhut:
WordPress and Gallery are the dynamic-duo of open-source photoblogging software.
At least they can be, if someone does the integration work needed for that to happen. Regard this as a callout to everyone that uses Wordpress and Gallery, and all of those who would like to get involved in integrating the two. Gallery 2 is currently in it's first beta (Codename: Dark Fibre) release, which probably makes this the perfect time to start integrating the two. Currently there are a few Gallery 1.x and Wordpress plugins/skins available, but there is no "total" solution which integrate the two properly. The ones I know of, are (and I'm sure I might have missed some): I would like to ask everyone that has an interest in getting something done with this to visit the Wordpress / Gallery2 integration discussion in the Gallery support forums and provide any input you may have. I truly believe that the combination of Wordpress and Gallery 2 will be a very powerfull one, it just needs to be done properly first time around.
