BlogBridge and Habari

Pito Salas, main developer behind BlogBridge, has just posted Can your current reader/aggregator do this? which highlights some of the new spiffy statistics you can get out of BlogBridge and other new features.

I've been using BlogBridge for quite some time now, and I still enjoy it very much. I also use Netvibes a bit, so I'm very happy that OPML import/export works both ways.

Now, BlogBridge also has another neat feature, namely Micropublishing. Sadly it only seems to support Wordpress, MT, Drupal and Roller, none of which work with my Habari install. I wonder how big a bribe Pito needs to add MetaWeblog support? After all, when Windows LiveWriter can do it...

I would love to be able to continue using BlogBridge to post directly to my site, it really does make commenting on things in my feedlist a whole lot easier.

I am starting to wonder how many methods of posting I do need though, but I guess the more options there are the better it is.

    Thanks for a great introduction!

In fact, BlogBridge supports MetaWeblog interface, and this is exactly the way how it talks to Wordpress and (partially) to MovableType. I would very much like to devote an evening adding the support for your blog type if only I had a test account for experiments. Please contact me directly?
